Plymouth burglary appeal


Plymouth police are appealing for information following lunchtime burglaries in Lipson Avenue, St Judes.

A man was disturbed at a house in the street at about 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 after having apparently climbed in through a window.

Once inside he went into a number of bed-sits and stole a laptop.

A police spokesman said the suspect then made off towards Sailsbury Road and through Lanhydrock Park.

He was described as 5ft 10 inches tall with short brown hair with his fringe sticking up. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans and was carrying a blue shopping bag.

Officers believe that there were a number of people in the street who may have seen what the man fleeing the scene.
