Thieves target Exeter opticians

DESIGNER frames and sunglasses have been stolen during raids on two opticians in Exeter.

Yesterday evening thieves broke into Bateman’s Opticians in Paris Street was broken into and RayBan and Prada frames were taken.

This follows on from a raid at John Symes in Longbrook Street overnight on Friday, July 3.

The sum total of the thefts runs into thousands of pounds.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
