A 15-YEAR-OLD boy from Barnstaple suffered minor head and knee injuries after he was hit with rounds from a ball bearing gun, say police.

The incident happened at about 3.45pm yesterday at the Cedars Roundabout, Bickington Road, Barnstaple when a number of shots were fired by the occupants of a car.

Police raced to the scene and four men from the Barnstaple area, aged between 18 and 21, were arrested a short time later.

The men were later released on police bail.
