CHANTRY Care Services, the Crediton-based residential care home for adults with learning and physical disabilities, entered into administration on Wednesday.

Chris Stevens and Ian Vickers, client partners at Vantis Business Recovery Services, were appointed joint administrators.

Mr Stevens said: “It is business as usual at Chantry Care Services, as residents continue to receive the highest level of service and attention.

“We are working closely with the Social Services and Regulatory Authorities to continue trading the home, while seeking a purchaser for the business as a going concern.”
