Police appeal after Exmouth assault

POLICE are appealing for information about an assault that took place in the Strand area of Exmouth in the early hours of Sunday morning on June 14.

The victim was approached by an unknown man and headbutted in an unprovoked attack.

The victim is a 21-year-old man from Somerset.

The attacker is described as 6ft 2ins tall, around 20-years-old with short light brown hair, shaved at the sides and of athletic build.

He was wearing jeans and a dark T-shirt.
