PUPILS across Mid Devon have got their eye on the prize in a glasses frame design competition.

Cullompton Community College, Tiverton High School and Uffculme School are taking part in the competition run by Jo Holmes, optician and director of the Pilgrim Optical Practice in Tiverton.

The designs will be judged by Jo and Rob Barrow of Spec-Care frame repair firm based in Whipton near Exeter.

Rob has offered to have the winning design hand made.

The winner will be presented with their prize on July 14 at 6pm at the Tiverton Hotel.
