Comments (0)WILLAND trampoline manufacturer, Super Tramp Ltd, has transferred production of trampoline frames from manufacturers in Germany and Essex to Devon Valley Fabrications, located on the Kingsmill Industrial Estate in Cullompton.
The transfer of production will secure the jobs of existing employees of both companies.
Devon Valley Fabrications is set to expand its workforce as it adds the manufacture of large folding wheelaway sports hall trampoline frames to the present product line of rigid and folding wheelaway trampoline end decks and gymnastic mini trampoline frames.
The first large trampoline frames are to roll off the production line next month.
Super Tramp Managing Director Chris Prentis said: “We are very keen to support local suppliers and help maintain employment and prosperity in the community.
“With the impact of the credit crunch on the economy it’s probably more important than ever to trade as locally as possible.”
