Fire service warn of bonfire night dangers
ANYONE planning a private fireworks party this Bonfire Night is being warned to take care handling them.
Fire chiefs in Devon are warning that the majority of accidents take place at home or other smaller venues.
Community safety manager Phil Martin said: “Organised displays will be safer than having a party of your own.
“Many council websites list the organised displays in their areas, so go online and find one near you.
“If you do hold your own party, make sure you follow the firework code.”
