I Divide
EXETER band 'I Divide' have reached are through to the final three of the Battle of the Bands Red Bull Bedroom Jam Challenge.
Having hit top 02 venues from Glasgow to London while supporting Fei Comodo on tour, 'I Divide', are tipped as one of the hottest break-through artists this year, with fast paced, raw energy performances that leaves crowds gasping for air and begging for more.
To cap off a successful launch of their album 'What's Worth More', 2012 has seen them win through to the top eight bands in the country from over 1,250 entered into the respected 'Battle of the Bands' Red Bull Bedroom Jam challenge. This has given them the chance to play the biggest rock festivals across the UK including Download, Slam Dunk and Heavy Fest, headlined by bands such as the Prodigy, Metallica and 'Ozzys' Black Sabbath, where they rocked the crowds, playing the opening set on the Red Bull Stages.
'I Divide' have now received the exciting news that they have won through to the final three in the competition, which gave them the opportunity to produce a music video of Never Be Stopped from their album filmed by the Red Bull team in and around South Devon last week. This video will be streamed alongside a live performance at the Red Bull Studios in London on Monday, September 17 at 5pm to be voted by online viewers who will choose this year's ultimate winner. The top group will get to record a new album at the Red Bull Studios and tour the UK with a headline band.
The band's guitarist Josh Wreford said: "This has been an amazing year and the opportunity to rub shoulders back stage with many of our music heros during the summer festivals has been a real highlight. Now we have the chance to win the Red Bull challenge could be a real springboard to national success."
