THE Mid Devon Show has won this year’s Farmers Guardian Show Business competition.

The competition attracted 53 entries from agricultural shows across the country and was judged by three professional judges who placed Mid Devon in the final seven. It was then voted into first place via an online poll.

The judge said Mid Devon made them “feel good about farming”, had strong livestock entry and played a strong role in the community.

The show wins a media partnership with Farmers Guardian, including a show preview and report and coverage on TV show Farming Sunday.

This year’s show will be at Hartnoll Farm on Saturday, July 28.
