A BRAVE female shop assistant grabbed a stolen TV from thieves as they prepared to race away from a raid at Tesco’s in Exmouth.

The assistant grabbed the TV from their car before it sped off.

The thieves still escaped with £600 worth of goods in Tuesday’s raid in Salterton Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses and in particular would like to speak to one man who helped the assistant and gave her the registration of the vehicle.
