Cold weather causes flooding

Comments (0)HOMES across Devon have been affected by flooding this evening.
Fire crews from Torrington, Tavistock, Chagford, Sidmouth, Tiverton, Exeter have all attended incidents where water mains have burst and affected homes.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters have assisted homeowners with isolating water supplies and salvaging belongings.
"The cold weather is thought to be cause."
