At about 12.20am on this morning a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred at the junction of Burton Street and Bolton Street in Brixham.
The collision involved a Honda 125cc motorcycle ridden by a 22-year-old local man and a Peugeot 206 motor car driven by a local 19 year old man.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious facial injuries and was conveyed to Torbay District hospital where his injuries have been described as life changing.
The driver of the Peugeot was uninjured.
