A SUSSEX man who was due in court last month to face two charges of assault by beating is missing.

Sussex Police say Karl Bunster from Hastings may be in Devon.

Bunster, 37, was due to appear before Hastings Magistrates’ Court on December 30 to face two charges of assault by beating.

However, he failed to show up and police are concerned as he has not been seen since before Christmas.

Detective inspector Gavin Patch said: "This is a little unusual, but the circumstances of his non-appearance in court and that he has not been seen by family and friends since before Christmas have raised worries and we are concerned for his welfare."

Karl also has links to Kent and Scotland.

If you know of his whereabouts, please contact Sussex Police by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or calling 101 (Sussex) quoting serial 1715 of 15/07.
