THE recycling ‘roadshow’ is set to hit a number of towns across Mid Devon with the aim of educating the public about the green cause and to answer all questions from them.

The events, which are organised by the Mid Devon District Council is running from Saturday, August 29 to Saturday, September 12.

Public are being encourage to go along to the one of the host venues to ‘find out how the service will affect you and what you need to know about recycling more items’.

As well as providing information on the new service, there will also be council recycling officers on hand to demonstrate the brand new caddies that will be made available to every household for the collection of food waste.

They will also be available to answer any questions that the public has with regards to recycling.

In addition to these services, the council recycling officers will also explain how the changeable garden waste service is going to work, and give further advice on how to recycle more plastic materials.

Tiverton Pannier Market – Saturday 29 August – 9.00am to 3.00pm

Crediton Town Square – Thursday 3 September – 10.00am to 3.00pm

Cullompton Farmers Market – Saturday 12 September – 9.00am to 12.30pm
