A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision on the A38 at Tiverton this morning (July 27).
Emergency services were called at 8.30am following the collision between the Honda CBR 125 motorcycle and a fuel tanker near Burlescombe.
A third vehicle, a white Citroen C2, was also involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist, a man 33 year old man from the Exeter area, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed.
The road has remained closed while Force Serious Collisions Investigation Unit are conducting an enquiry into the circumstances of the collision.
Police are keen for witnesses to the incident to get in touch, or anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles travelling on the road prior to the collision.
