Extra resouces were caleld in to help tackle a coach fire on the main road in Highampton on Friday.
Two appliances from Hatherleigh and Holsworthy attended and found the coach well alight and an electricity pole and cable also involved in the fire.
Crews set about using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and requested the attendance of an additional appliance to assist.
Western Power Distribution and BT were requested as cables were damaged by fire.
Crews increased breathing apparatus wearers to four plus three hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
The coach was severely damaged by fire and there was also superficial damage to two nearby properties.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
