YOUNGSTERS at Exeter City Football Club are celebrating after they netted brand new training gear from leading local housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.

The developer, which is currently building high-quality homes at its Cranbrook development near Exeter, donated a full set of bibs to the Grecians’ Tiny Tots team to wear during their training sessions.

The Tiny Tots programme is run by Football in the Community, the club’s charitable arm, and is for boys and girls aged between three and six. The weekly sessions develop fundamental skills that allow the youngsters to enhance their footballing ability, balance, coordination and social interaction skills.

Jamie Vittles, head of community at Exeter City Football Club, says: “We are really grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s support and want to say a big thank you for the donation – the children absolutely love their new training bibs.

“The Tiny Tots are the grassroots of our football club – they’re the players and fans of the future – so it is important to support them.”

Clare Brimble, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, says: “As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities which we build in, so we were only too pleased to fund new training bibs for the Tiny Tots team.

“We were thrilled to hear the youngsters are happy with the bibs and we wish them all the best as they continue to learn the game at Exeter City Football Club.”

There’s a superb selection of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes currently on sale at Cranbrook, with prices starting from as little as £127,995.

Located eight miles from Exeter, Cranbrook is a brand new community of eco-friendly homes and is the first new town of its kind in Devon.
