AGE UK Mid Devon is looking for volunteers to fill a wide range of roles across their services based in Mid Devon.
The charity is seeking volunteers of all ages to sign up and take on a role that involves working directly with older people – from assisting them to claim benefits they’re entitled to or providing information and advice, to helping at the activity centre or providing transport.
They need the help of enthusiastic local people who have the time and energy to help enrich the lives of older people.
It’s a great opportunity to learn and develop new skills as well as make new friends. Expenses, a Meal (Haven Centre) and full training are provided.
They need:
1 x Hospital / Care Home Advocate
3 x Advocates 2 x I&A Advisers
2 x IT Trainers
5 x Haven Centre Helpers
2 x Drivers
3 x Volunteer Visitors
