Police are asking the public to help identify two men in connection with an unprovoked assault on a group of young people in Plymouth.
Five young men and women were in Rendle Street, Stonehouse, just before midnight on 22 August, when they were approached by three men.
One of the men punched a 17-year-old girl in the face, breaking her nose. As her friends picked her up off the floor, they were set upon by two male offenders and repeatedly punched and kicked.
The five victims, two of them young women, sustained minor injuries.
Police have now released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the assault and are asking the public to contact them if they recognise the men in the pictures.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 55511, quoting crime reference CR/100582/14.
