A man and woman, both from Plymouth, have appeared in court charged with a number of offences committed between April 25 and May 4, in the Devonport and Stonehouse areas of the city.
Ashley Woodman, 31, from Stoke, has been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery and racially aggravated public order offence and two counts of possessing a bladed article in a public place.
Kimberley Barnes, 26, from Stonehouse, has been charged with one count of robbery, one count of attempted robbery and one count of racially aggravated common assault.
Barnes and Woodman appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 6 and have been remanded in custody.
They will appear at Plymouth Crown Court on May 19.
