The Environment Agency has warned of further heavy rainfall  for today and Saturday in Devon, bringing a further risk of flooding.

Large waves on Saturday will also bring a medium flood risk from coastal flooding to parts of south Devon and Dorset where some communities and defences remain vulnerable.

This includes Dawlish where seafornt homes have already been badly damaged and the rail tracks are hanging above the sea after the sea wall collapsed.

A Cawsands the foundations of the clock tower were also badly damaged by the waves and it is now in danger of collapse.

The agency says in these areas there is a medium likelihood of significant impacts on the infrastructure.

Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast for tonight and tomorrow.
