A WOMAN has been air lifted to hospital with potentially life changing injuries following a collision on the M5 northbound, near Cullompton.
The collision involving a Renault Clio happened at around 6.30am this morning, Wednesday 4 December.
The northbound carriageway is closed at junction 29 in Exeter.
The southbound carriageway of the M5 near Cullompton was also closed for a short time to allow for the air ambulance to land, but has now reopened.
It is unclear at this stage whether any other vehicles have been involved.
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route from Exeter to Cullompton for the time being.
