Police are appealing for help identifying a man detectives would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a parked van in Stonehouse.
The incident took place some weeks ago, around 11.15am on 11 September. Police enquiries have led to some CCTV images of a man that police would like to identify.
It is alleged that a man walked past a parked, white Iveco van on Melbourne Street in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth. The driver was with the van at the time.
As the man walked past he reached into the van through the passenger side door and grabbed a rucksack that was on the seat. The bag contained a sat-nav device and some low value items.
The suspect is described as being a white man; around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with short hair.
If anyone has any information about this incident or believe they recognise the man in the CCTV still please call 101 and quote reference EC/13/8839, alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
