Health and Safety 'myth busters' reveal saw point for store

A DIY store which refused to sell a man a saw because it feared it would be liable if he hurt himself and a village hall which said it was unsafe for people to wash their hands in soapy water are just two examples of organisations making up “nonsense” rules under the guise of health and safety law, according to the Health & Safety Executive’s ‘mythbusters’ panel.
