Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary took place in Chudleigh on Friday.
The burglary took place at a property in Moor View at around 6pm, where the suspect is believed to have been in possession of a knife with an eight inch blade.
The suspect is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5ft 10 and of slight build. He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, dark jeans and white shoes. A bum bag, wallet and a small amount of cash were taken.
PC Hoskin-Cole, investigating officer, said: “Although this is a distressing crime, it is relatively rare. We understand there may have been witnesses so if you saw anything that may help us with our enquiries please get in touch.”
