Police say there have been five incidents regarding historic sexual abuse made against Jimmy Saville reported in the Devon and Cornwall force area.
The investigation is being co-ordinated by the force’s Child Exploitation Unit.
Three of the reported incidents relate to the Exeter area.
One of these involves an allegation involving a victim who was using the services of an NHS organisation that no longer exists.
One allegation relates to an incident in West Cornwall.
The remaining reported incident relates to a victim who resides in Devon but the incident occurred in another force area.
A spokesman said he victim’s are receiving on-going support and that investigating officers are in regular contact with officers from Operation Yewtree.
