Woman critical after serious Dawlish crash

A 43-year-old woman whas been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a one-vehicle road traffic collision in Dawlish.

The collision took place on the A379 on Teignmouth Hill at around 6.10am hours on Tuesday.

A 125cc Aprilia motorcycle being ridden by a local woman collided with a stone wall.

The woman sustained back injuries and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

She is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
