Police in Torquay are hunting a suspected hit and run driver after a crash on Barton Hill Way.
A police spokesman said that around 1pm on Friday, November 9 a grey Rover ZR MG car collided head-on with a red Nissan Note, and then went on to hit other nearby vehicles.
"The driver of the Rover fled the scene on foot and despite searches by police units - including the police helicopter - the person has not been located," he added.
A passenger in the Rover was injuried in the collision and was taken to hospital for surgery.
Any witnesses who either saw the collision or noticed a grey Rover ZR MG, registration number WF03 LTZ, driving in the Willows area of Torquay, are asked to contact Newton Abbot serious collisions investigation unit quoting reference 351 of November 9.
