EMERGENCY stabilisation work had to be carried out on scaffolding at an Exeter shopping centre following a road traffic collision this morning (Saturday 27).

Fire crews were called to The Harlequin Centre shortly after 10.30am to help police close a road while the damaged scaffolding was assessed.
