Attack on 14-year-old Plymouth boy

Police in Plymouth are trying to identify a man who launched an unprovoked attacked on a 14 year old boy, leaving his victim with a cut and swollen lip.

The boy was walking to school through the underpass at the junction of Sheridan Road and St Peters Road at about 9.15 a.m. on Monday 22 October 2012 when he was approached by a man in a camouflage jacket who punched him in the face. The man then ran off in the direction of the shops.

The suspect is described as being white, in his 30’s and with a black beard.

Anyone who witnessed the attack or can put a name to the suspect is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference EL/12/4644.
