A COMPETITION is under way for budding artists to sketch Cullompton town centre in a scheme to boost trade and tourism. Cullompton Enhancement and Regeneration Group will use the winning art to create a pamphlet promoting the town’s range of shops and places of interest.
Entries should be submitted on A4 paper and must include all main roads and landmark buildings in the town so place names can be added at a later stage. A judging panel made up of representatives of the town, traders and the regeneration group will pick the winning sketch and the winner will receive a prize of £100. Entries should be sent to: Penny Bayer, project|co-ordinator for Cullompton Enhancement and Regeneration Group, Town Hall, Cullompton EX15 1AB, by January 31, 2013. Anyone who would like their artwork returned should include a stamped addressed envelope.
