Three cars in Crediton damaged in deliberate fire
THREE cars were damaged in a deliberate fire this evening in Crediton.
Devon and somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at Denbury Lane just after 5pm.
One fire engine from Crediton was originally mobilised to this incident but a second engine was requested after crews found the car well alight.
The fire had also spread to two further vehicles.
Crews set to work to extinguish the fire using two compressed air foam jets, two hydraulic combi tools and two breathing apparatus.
Two private cars were severely damaged by fire and one further car was slightly damaged by heat.
