PATIENTS and staff are making use of a new link corridor at Crediton Hospital.
The corridor, which connects reception with outpatient areas and offices at the rear of the building, has been transformed thanks to a £14,500 refurbishment.
The corridor has been fitted with uPVC double-glazed windows and a new flat roof covering.
Cathy Weeks, matron, said: “The work has improved the appearance of the hospital, creating a nicer and more modern environment for patients and staff.
“It is a light, bright and warm space that will help us reduce maintenance and energy costs in the future.”
The corridor crosses the hospital’s central courtyard and provides access to the garden area.
