TALENTED students at Tiverton High School have been busy preparing for some pressurised performances this week.

Tomorrow (Friday), youngsters at the school will showcase their play 'A Mother's Voice'.

The play, by Chris Owen, will be performed by Year 11 BTEC actors at the Tiverton Community Arts Theatre at 7pm.

It includes acting, movement and dance allowing the actors to work creatively as an ensemble. Tickets available at the door.

Meanwhile, students have been deep in concentration for their rehearsals ahead of Tiverton High School Autumn concert next week.

The performance is on Wednesday, October 24 at 7pm and will take place in the Community Arts Theatre.

The concert will include a wide variety of music and will involve students from across a variety of years at the school.

*REHEARSALS are also well under way for the school's production of CATS from December 10 to 14.

Tiverton High School is the first school in the country to receive the performing rights for the musical and had to apply to Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Really Useful Group' for them.
