A BURST pipe led to a minor flood around technology goods on the opening day of Exeter’s John Lewis store.
Staff evacuated the section while the problem was solved.
The £17m store has been hailed as helping to boost the city’s retail fortunes, with vacancy rates dropping and demand for commercial property rising.
