Police seize heroin and cash at Paignton property

Police have seized heroin and cash during a raid at a Paignton.
Officers executed a warrant at an address on Totnes Road in Paignton under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Monday, September 18.
Approximately one third of a kilo of heroin in a compressed block was seized, thought to have a street value of around £30,000. A quantity of cash between £5,000 and £10,000 was also seized.
Three people were arrested at the scene.
James Thompson, age 33, who was living at Totnes Road but is from the Liverpool area, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He appeared at South Devon Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning (Tuesday 18 September).
A 38 year old man from Totnes Road, Paignton and a 18 year old woman of Queen Elizabeth Drive, Paignton have both been given police bail for conspiracy to supply heroin until 10 December, while police carry out further enquiries.
