Armed police called to Paignton home

Armed police were called to a home in Elsdale Road in Paignton following concerns for the safety of a 63 year old man.
Officers attended the property around 4pm following concerns raised by a family member.
Officers said that no-one else was in the premises and there is no risk to the public.
A Police spokesman said: "We are currently speaking to the male in order that we can ascertain he is safe and if he needs medical attention. I would like to reassure local residents that there is no risk to the public."
