THE SPACE company join forces with West Somerset Railway this October to present 'Lear on the Tracks', a new site-specific version of Shakespeare's tragedy played out on board a West Somerset Railway train journey from Bishops Lydeard to Williton.

The SPACE's interpretation of Lear is set to be their most adventurous and daring yet, with action taking place both aboard the train and at the station along the way.

The show will also incorporate a range of different performance styles, including dance and physical theatre.

Amy Hardwick, director of the piece, said: “It has been immensely exciting working in collaboration with WSRA. The SPACE company are extremely lucky to be working site-specifically so early in their careers.”

Lear on the Tracks runs from Tuesday, October 18, to Thursday, October 20. Performances start at 7PM at Bishops Lydeard train station.

Tickets cost £6.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and £4.50 for students, available on 01823-414141 and online at www.tacchi-morris.com
