A TAUNTON firm has raised funds for national charity ‘Dreams Come True’ after cycling the length of Britain.
Two generations from independent mortgage advisory firm Cooper Associates, cycled over 900 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats in just over seven days.
Lee Cooper, Managing Director, and his father Glyn Cooper, were accompanied by colleague Katherine Stone, who provided on route publicity to help generate further funds.
Samantha Cooper, Lee’s sister and Training & Competence Manager at Cooper Associates is currently on a trekking expedition attempting to climb Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.
She is passing through four seasons in just one week, going from extreme humidity of the steamy rain forests in the mountain’s foot hills to the freezing conditions of the snowy peaks.
‘Dreams Come True’ is a charity which helps to make dreams come true for terminally ill children.
Cooper regularly hold fundraising events in aid of the charity.
