AN 84-year-old woman has won an iPod Shuffle at the Culm Valley Sports Centre summer loyalty competition.
Cecily Hiscox has attended line-dancing and over-50s circuit classes at the centre three to four times a week for 13 years.
The Ipod was first prize in the competition open to all centre users who visited eight times during the World Cup.
Mid Devon Leisure Facilities Manager Samantha Bennion said: βIt's fabulous Cecily has won the competition as it shows people of all ages can enjoy the sports centre's facilities.β
Cecily's daughter has already downloaded songs on to her new Ipod, which she has been listening to as she does her ironing.
