PORLOCK Country Fair finally went ahead after severe winds caused it to be cancelled last month.
Organisers declared the event a huge success as the weather helped draw in the crowds.
The day’s entertainment included a dog show, arts and crafts stalls, beer tent, brass band and Irish dancing.
The fair was opened by Carnival Queen Stephanie Tucker and her two Princesses, Lily Passmore and Lydia Waters, nine.
The groups were transported to the fair in a vintage Bentley, courtesy of Peter Sutton.
