MID Devon teachers are among those rewarded for their efforts in helping children in Devon schools improve their reading and maths.
They were among teachers presented with their accreditation for the Numbers Count programme and their Reading Recovery qualifications.
The presentations were made by the county’s director of learning and schools, Judith Johnson, at a ceremony at the Tiverton Hotel.
St Andrew’s School, in Cullompton is joining the Numbers Count scheme from next term.
The newly accredited Numbers Count teachers included Tiverton’s Vicki Davidson, of Two Moors, and Pam Roberts, from Heathcoat.
Among the Reading Recovery teachers qualifying was Linda Kerrigan, at Two Moors.
