Lord Pembroke is hosting one of the largest displays of Supercars in the country, at Wilton House, Wiltshire, on Saturday 14th August to raise funds for his charity, the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.

Over 100 of the world’s most expensive and exotic cars are expected to attend with owners coming from across the country to be part of this special show. Lord Pembroke will be exhibiting his own Bugatti Veyron, an 8 litre, 16 cylinder supercar capable of 252mph. Other marques expected to be on show include McLaren, Pagani, Ferrari and Lamborghini among many others.

Event organiser Jaykaybi managed to corral a fantastic collection of metal (and carbonfibre) for the inaugural event last year, but he's clearly not satisfied with the turnout and has said he will include some "even rarer and more off-the-wall' machinery.

It will cost £10 a head to see the supercars, but there will be more to see and do - including a 'Loudest Supercar' contest.

Alongside the Supercar event, there will also be a Trade Fair and Motor Show taking place being organised by the Salisbury Journal (one of Newsquest’s weekly newspaper titles). Top dealers, including Bentley and Mercedes, will have their vehicles on show and there will be a host of other stands offering motor accessories, clothing and related items.

Lord Pembroke said “We are delighted to be hosting the Supercar Day for the second year running. Last year’s show was a great success for both visitors and the money raised for Stars Appeal. This year we hope to do even better.”

Dave Cates, Director of the Stars Appeal said the money raised will go towards our funding a dedicated Children’s area in the Accident and Emergency department.

Supercars at Wilton House runs between 10am – 4pm on Saturday 14th August. Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for children. More details can be found by visiting www.wiltonhouse.com. Advanced tickets are available at Wilton House Admissions or online at www.salisburyjournal.co.uk.
