A PUBLIC meeting for residents and users of Amory Park is being held tomorrow in the Lowman Suite of the Tiverton Hotel, Blundell’s Road, Tiverton at 7pm.

The meeting is being held by Mid Devon council in order to look at suggestions that have been made by local people with regard to redeveloping the park for increased community use and enjoyment and to gain some valuable feedback.

A council spokesperson said: “It is also hoped that a community action group will be formed, so that local people are actively engaged in realising the options and potential for Amory Park.

“Stakeholders, local schools and youth groups have contributed many good ideas over the last few weeks and local residents are currently giving their views by way of a questionnaire.”
