A TEAM of psychology students from the University of Exeter wants to hear from pregnant women about their experiences.
The students are conducting research on the changes in mood and daily routine that women experience during pregnancy.
They are inviting pregnant women to take part in their study, which they hope will further our understanding of the emotional and behavioural changes that women experience during these nine months.
Student Tina van Dam says: “There is lots of information out there about the physical changes that women go through during pregnancy.
“Women who have experienced pregnancy also know that this can be a time of great emotional change.
“We are very keen to speak to women at any stage of their pregnancy who could spare up to an hour to share with us their experiences.
“With the help of local women I’m hoping to shed a little more light on this incredibly important but under-studied time in a woman’s life.”
Tina is looking for 20 women at any stage of pregnancy to complete a series of questionnaires and tests.
The session can be held either at the woman’s home or at the University and will take between 45 minutes and an hour.
Each participant will be entered into a draw to win £50 of Mothercare vouchers.
