FUNDRAISING events to help pay for Jim Clatworthy's pioneering medical treatment for brain cancer are up and running.
The 52-year-old farmer and former stalwart of Taunton Rugby Club underwent an eight-hour operation during the summer but has been told he could only have months to live.
On Sunday he was at the Ilminster Lions 10K run to cheer on his brother-in-law Paul Turner, wife Michelle and friend Duncan Leaney in their efforts to raise vital funds.
Jim's hopes rest on a new treatment being trialled in Europe.
