OVER the years europhiles have called myself and others, all sorts of names, and in some cases have been downright rude when we have pointed out that EU rules banned misshapen fruit etc.
I wonder if any of these europhiles have the courage and the decency, to write in and apologise, now that the EU Agriculture Commissioner has said it was a waste of resources to throw away perfectly good fruit when there was nothing wrong with it. It is a great pity that it has taken about 20 years to realise this simple fact.
As more and more facts are coming to light, most of which those, including myself, that believe in democratic rule and the primacy of our Parliament, has been saying over the years.
At least I never got insulted when I pointed out if the Lisbon Treaty is ratified, anyone can be imprisoned for up to six months without being charged, the death penalty will be restored and the freedom of free speech will be curtailed.
I don’t know when the majority of our MP’s will realise they will be made redundant, as all our laws will be determined by the un-elected EU Commissioners and historically, will be among the first to be imprisoned, and no doubt be executed, as they will be considered a threat to the EU dictators.
Think it through, before insulting me, it is the logical step for dictators, they don’t want anyone that could possibly organise a revolt, they have imprisonment without charge and the death penalty at their disposal.
