A LADIES’ indulgence evening raised £700 for the Breast Care Centre at Taunton’s Musgrove Park Hospital.
Following talks on breast awareness, guests were offered the chance to try out massage therapy, manicures, facials, pedicures, hair care and other treatments.
The event was organised by Rachael Knight, Jackie Ostle and Tracy Freeney and sponsored by Virgin Vie.
Alan Klidjian, consultant breast surgeon at Musgrove, said: “I’d like to thank Rachael, Jackie and Tracy for organising this fundraiser and for donating the monies to the unit.
“The donated funds will be divided and used to buy new equipment for the unit, as well as being used by the support group.”
