ACTIVITIES ranging from gliding, sailing and rock climbing to archery, canoeing and a girl’s spa day will be on offer to young people this summer through Devon County Council Youth Service’s annual programme of holiday events in Exeter.

All the events are aimed at young people in Year 7 or above, and all come at a discounted price ranging from £2.50 to £8.

The events are being organised through Exeter’s five youth centres, the mobile street work youth team and the Haven Banks Outdoor Activity Centre.

Executive Member for Children and Young People’s Services, Cllr John Smith, said: “We like to ensure that all the work we do in encouraging young people to learn and achieve carries on throughout the summer holidays.

“This is a really full and wide ranging programme, which holds something for everyone.”

Bookings can be made at the 100 Club Youth Centre on 01392 662112/01392 662227.
